Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using atyors, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. What atyors Is

atyors is a software platform for independent contractors. It provides tools to build quotes in the field, collect digital signatures from customers, and accept payment by credit card, Apple Pay, or cash — all from a phone or tablet. atyors does not employ contractors, assign work, or act as a marketplace. Contractors use atyors to manage their own customer relationships and collect payment for their own services.

3. Who Can Use atyors

atyors is intended for independent contractors and tradespeople who are at least 18 years old. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorization.

4. Quotes and Service Agreements

Contractors use atyors to create job quotes and service agreements. When a customer signs a quote through the platform, that signature constitutes their agreement to the terms of that specific job. Contractors are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their quotes and for performing the work described. atyors is not a party to any agreement between a contractor and their customer.

5. Payments and Fees

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. atyors does not store full card numbers.
• Free plan: atyors charges a 2% platform fee on top of Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), for a combined rate of approximately 4.9% + $0.30.
• Pro plan ($100/month): The atyors platform fee is waived. You pay only Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
• Contractors may optionally pass processing fees to their customers. When enabled, the quoted price shown to the customer will include the applicable fee.
• Subscription fees for the Pro plan are billed monthly and are non-refundable.

6. Payment Collection

Contractors collect payment from their customers through the atyors platform. Payment methods accepted include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash or check (manually recorded). Contractors may collect a deposit before work begins, full payment up front, or final payment upon job completion. A payment link may also be sent to the customer by SMS so they can pay from their own device at a later time.

atyors is not responsible for disputes between a contractor and their customer regarding the quality of work performed or the amount charged. Contractors should resolve disputes directly with their customers.

7. Job Photos

Contractors may take before and after photos through the platform and attach them to a job record. These photos are stored securely and may be included in receipts or job summaries sent to customers. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any permission required to photograph a customer's property.

8. Contractor Responsibilities

By using atyors, contractors agree to:

• Provide accurate and honest quotes to customers
• Complete the work described in the agreed quote
• Comply with all applicable laws and licensing requirements for their trade
• Treat customer information entered into the platform with care and not use it outside of the job context

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Do not create fake accounts or provide false information
• Do not use the platform to collect payment for work you did not perform
• Do not attempt to circumvent or manipulate the payment system
• Do not interfere with the platform's operation or other users' accounts

10. Limitation of Liability

atyors provides its platform "as is." We are not liable for damages arising from contractor conduct, property damage during a job, disputes between contractors and their customers, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the fees you paid to atyors in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. Any outstanding fees or charges remain due after termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
